This topic to be properly covered in one blog comment, but I simply wanted to share my journey - one from where I had a unhealthy and unscriptural view against prosperity to one which is hopefully now in line with the heart, mind, and will of God. €� keep things at a level where it is still possible for us to follow Jesus without overt appeal to rewards in this life. This is year GOD has spoken to us that this is the year that HIS people will live in COMPLETE prosperity (spirit, soul, body, finances, and every area of our lives). As we've seen, Faith believers all over the world endlessly quote the verse as a prooftext that supposedly proves that God's will is that all men be always prosperous. Join the Prosperity Team and God will bless you. We always hear people talk about money vs God… I hear lots of times!! The real prosperity gospel is the belief that God will — must? (Proverbs 4:22) So take time today to meditate on His Word. Doing good will have a reward, true. Even your health and well-being will be blessed. It is not as if I put a coin in and can reasonably expect a chocolate bar or a can of drink. My friend, you will not lose out when you take time to sit down and listen to God's Word. The “Prosperity Gospel” is a pagan concept. Not to Initially, Prosperity Doctrine draws a subtle link between you giving to God and God giving to you. But I think you should have noted that the “Prosperity Gospel” is not even a Christian concept! But as God accounts it, not as we do. So you may eventually earn a Mercedes — and if you are ill in NZ, you will be taken to hospital in a Mercedes… but we are to be equipped to do the tasks we are called to. The mission of Beyond Positive Thinking Ministries is to help people fulfill the will of God is their lives according to 3 John 2, they prosper in all things and live in health. That's nothing compared to what God wants to do for you.”[3] So, according to Price, Copeland, and Tilton, the God of the Christian Bible desires all believers to live a prosperous life.
